Oscar Reactions

I'm upset that God of Love won best short. It was a really good short, I admit, but The Confession should have won.

Sorry Banksy

I'm surprised Alice in Wonderland has won so many awards. The costumes seemed obvious, although well done.

Video editing better than the Black Swan? Looking back though, The Social Network was very well done.

It's not the load that brings you down, it's the way you carry it. was a wonderful quote

Directing called it!

Randy Newman....

Best picture called it.

My Oscar predictions

Some categories have multiple movies selected (usually 1 underlined and 1 not). If there are more than 2 (other than best picture), it means I haven't seen enough of the selected films to decide.
Underline = Which one I predict the Academy will choose.
Not Underlined = Which one was my favorite.
In the case of best picture, I think the underlined film will win although the bold italicized film (in my opinion) was better. The third film was my choice.

Bat For Lashes - Whats a Girl To Do

I just realized pretty much all of the bands I posted are euro-techno-ish. That's really weird.
Regardless, Here's a music video with a Donnie Darko feel to it.

              Filur 'The Con'

Sounds a little like old school No Doubt.

Pass This On - The Knife

This song has been stuck in my head all week. Dont ask why.
The girl shown at the very end is the real lead singer of the band.

              Sorry

I apologize that it's taken me a while to upload some videos. I've been trying to get myself and my roommate acclimated to Athens and Grad School. More will come soon. I promise

              Obama's BBQ

I feel like there's some underlying message but I can't figure it out.

              100 Greatest Movie Insults

Definitely a LOT of cursing but it's too classic to pass up. Again - A LOT of cursing.
